
One of the drivers pulled out the ramp, opened the door, and a few moments later I saw Gus for the first time in nine months. He walked down the ramp and I said his name.....he looked at me and pulled towards me, giving me a big hug and a kiss. Jeff, (I think) gave me the disposable camera which they used to take pictures of Gus's journey, (I am going to get those developed today.) We showed Gus around his new house and introduced him to his new friends Kaya, Hobbes and Kitty- they seem to be getting along great.
He has been home for a little over an hour now and he has been napping for the last 20 minutes- I suspect he has quite a bit of sleep to catch up on. It is so good to have him home.
